Christmas Morning

Christmas morning the girls woke up at ummm...6 AM! We woke up to flashes of light. Santa had brought Chelsea a digital camera and Macey a stereo for her room. He also left treats for Reese and the fish and stockings for us all. We gave Chelsea a phone for her room and Macey got an I-dog. Each year we hide a pickle ornament on the tree and the first one to find it gets to open the pickle gift. This year Chelsea found it and got to open the Speed Stackers! We enjoyed a relaxing morning opening presents, eating a yummy breakfast casserole, and celebrating Christmas together!

Getting ready for Santa

Macey is still a little leery of the Elves!

On Christmas Eve we baked Santa his favorite cookies, and we made enough for him to take back to the North Pole for Mrs. Clause and the Elves (per Macey's request). Then we went our to tour some Christmas lights by the lake and when we came back, the Elves had apparently been on their usual trial run of Santa's route, stopped by our house, and left of each a present! They gave us all new pajamas and an ornament for the tree! We hurried to decorate Santa's cookies and then sprinkled the magic Reindeer food all over the driveway (so they'd know where to find us) and then read the two book we read every Christmas Eve: The First Christmas and T'was the Night Before Christmas. We can't wait for Christmas morning!

Christmas with Grandpa 2007

Chelsea reads to Tatum.

Uncle Andy being silly!

Future veterinarian!
Grandpa loves his new Hawaiian shirt!

Mammaw loved her wind chime from Hawaii!
We had lots of fun with Grandpa, Mammaw, Tatum and Uncle Andy. We ate homemade enchiladas and opened all our presents from Grandpa and the Schelins! Andy and David played Guitar Hero and made us laugh until our sides hurt!

Christmas Parade 2007

We decided to take the girls to the downtown Christmas parade this year! The weather was overcast and a little chilly, but not too bad. We thought we had perfect seats, or uh standing places. We could see perfectly right over the heads of thepeople infront of us, who were sitting in lawn chairs. Then when the parade started the people infront of us, who were sitting in their lawn chairs, decided it was time to stand up and then stayed standing despite the fact that they all had chairs to sit on at their leisure. Well, we had fun anyway.
